Rebecca Miller

Rebecca Miller is a recent Fresno transplant, relocating from the east coast after a short stint at something called “business school.” Believing that business prowess can also be used for good, she moved to the West Coast/Best Coast to pursue a career of meaning and passion and profit. Rebecca soon fell victim to Cupid’s arrow, becoming infatuated with Fresno, never to return east of the Mississippi. After a very, very long year of living in poverty as an AmeriCorps VISTA, Rebecca scored a real job – a real awesome job – working in economic development.

Rebecca is best known for her sense of sometimes-life-threatening-adventure, her obsession with fresh produce, and her passion for the “Best Little City in the U.S.A.” While she spends her weekends reveling in the unmatched beauty of the Sierras, Rebecca devotes the majority of her time to her beloved city, defending it against “doubters” and “haters.” She hopes the thoughts shared here will resonate with people of all backgrounds, and that the universe will come to see the true, life-altering value of Fresno.  Check out her blog, Three Hours From Everything to read more of her adventures.
