John Rupe is a guest contributor to the Downtown Fresno Blog and is passionate about re-creating what was lost, and rediscovering what remains of Fresno’s once grand central core.
His project includes building scale replicas of buildings demolished in Central Fresno, Identifying Potential buildings of historic importance that remain and his focus is specific to the 1880 to 1920 period, before the minimalism of architectural features began.
